We received excellent care from Mr Acharya for my son's foot condition. He was confident and caring. Importantly, after the surgery there has been an excellent recovery and it has been one year and my son is much better and is able to play games without foot discomfort. I would highly recommend him for any foot problems in children.
Pleased to hear that my treatment helped your son get back to his active lifestyle without pain. As the french say, 'Bonne continuation'! Regards.
I was unfortunate to have 2 very painful and unsightly bunions. After many years of pain I decide the time had come to take action. Before deciding who I would trust to operate I did very extensive research as I want Minimally Invasive Surgery.
Thankfully my research led me to Mr Acharya.
From the moment you meet him you know you are in safe hands. He listens, discusses and gives you confidence.
My first operation was in March 2018, by June 2018 I was walking normally. In July 2018 I had my other operation. I am now walking normally pain free on both feet.
During my second operation he had concerns that I might have Osteoporosis. Following a Dexa scan his concerns unfortunately proved to be correct, however, without his expertise this could have gone on unnoticed resulting in a disagreeable outcome.
I cannot thank Mr Acharya enough for what he has done for me. He has excellent surgical skills and is extremely professional. Listen to the advice you are given by him, be patient and like me you will have a successful outcome. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Acharya.
The first time I saw my foot without dressings I said wow you are a “Wizard”, now I am discharged and have “beautiful pain free feet” I have renamed him “The Master Wizard”. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Acharya, if you are looking for an excellent Orthopaedic surgeon, look no further.
Thank you very much for the kind review. Glad I could be of service.
The NHS had diagnosed (incorrectly) a broken finger for my son. Mr Acharya undertook a detailed examination, made sure he had the right x-rays to provide a proper diagnosis, was extremely helpful and pleasant and helped guide us with the next course of action.
Hope your son's finger is getting better. Happy that I could help. Kind regards.
Mr Ashok V Acharya showed compassion and understanding towards my son Thomas. He was understanding and listened to us. I felt he was professional but spoke to Thomas at his level which was reassuring.
Thank you

Thank you very much for your kind words. Hope Thomas is doing well. I am glad that I could keep him comfortable during the consultation - an essential part of providing good care to children.
Mr Acharya operated on my very painful bunion via keyhole surgery which is definitely the way forward for bunion operations. Mr Acharya explained everything and had a lot of time to make sure I understood what was going to happen during and after my procedure. He was also happy to reply to my emails and put me at ease before I had my operation.
The operation went very well and my foot looks great even though it is still slightly swollen as it can take up to a year to go back to normal. My bunion has completely gone and so has the pain.
I went back today for my 3 monthly check up and Mr Acharya was very happy with the results. I highly recommend Mr Acharya not only for his expertise in his field of work. But also for his compassion and understanding throughout the time I saw him before and after my procedure. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the results speak for themselves.
If you have a bunion I recommend you have the keyhole procedure as the recovery is much quicker than having the standard operation it was six weeks in all for me.
Thank you very much for your kind words. Pleased that I was able to help you. Sincere regards.
